This series represents my return to photography after a forty year hiatus during which family and career had monopolized my time and energy. Two summers ago while spending a week alone with my wife Nan at her family’s summer place on Massachusetts Bay I picked up my camera, at this point just my telephone, and returned to a practice that I had so dearly loved many years before. These are a selection from the fifty or so images that comprise the series.
